The course is divided into three modules:
Module 1: Standup Paddling (April 28/29)
The first two days we teach you how to efficiently lead a basic beginner SUP lesson. We cover the history of SUP, important safety considerations, equipment, basic and intermediate stroke technique, and turns.
Module 2: SUP Yoga (May 5/6)
In the second module, we teach you how to lead an effective SUP yoga class. We will discuss the many factors and considerations of leading a yoga class on the water. We will share with you two SUP yoga flows – a beginner and an advanced class. There will be plenty of time to practice teaching one another!
Module 3: SUP Fitness (May 7/8)
The third module is dedicated to SUP fitness. We will discuss more advanced SUP techniques and fitness challenges on the water. We will teach you how to create a well balanced workout on the water.
You may choose to participate in 1, 2 or all 3 modules, but if you are interested in only part of the training, please note that module 1 is mandatory. Each module is $500.
