Get level 1 SUP certified

New to stand-up paddle boarding and interested in learning about safety, paddle techniques, and maneuvers? Join us for this three-hour clinic on the water of Oahu! Successful participants will receive an ACA (American Canoe Association) SUP Level 1 certificate.

The ACA National Paddlesports Instruction Program has been acknowledged as the “gold standard” of paddlesports education throughout the United States and in over 30 countries.

The SUP clinic level 1 course is designed to introduce and expose the participant to sufficient skills and knowledge so that they can enjoy the sport of stand-up paddle boarding in a calm, flat water setting.

Topics covered include understanding the paddling environment, personal preparation, launching and landing, board and paddle control, standing and balance, safety and rescue, maneuvers, and paddle strokes.

All equipment is provided.

Get level 2 SUP certified

This three-hour SUP clinic is for intermediate paddlers and builds on the skills learned in level 1. Successful participants will receive an ACA (American Canoe Association) SUP Level 2 certificate.

The Essentials of Stand-Up Paddle Boarding course is designed to develop and refine the skills needed to paddle effectively in conditions where wind, waves and current are present.

This course is also designed to increase knowledge of SUP equipment. Topics covered include understanding the paddling environment, personal preparation, board and paddle design details, SUP safety, launching and landing, board and paddle control, standing and balance, maneuvers, strokes and bracing, safety and rescue, and planning for a day trip.
